Iron Baltic ATV plastic skid plates represent a major upgrade from factory-installed plastic covers, which offer minimal impact protection. These skid plates are made from high-density polyethylene (PE-HWU), recognized for its excellent sliding properties, high resistance to corrosion and chemicals, and superior UV protection. The material remains extremely tough even at low temperatures (down to -50°C / -58°F) while maintaining enough flexibility to avoid deformation and return to its original shape after impact. These plastic skid plates are structurally rigid and durable with low friction, ensuring easy and safe operation even in extreme conditions. All our plastic skid plates are fully compatible with other Iron Baltic products (such as plow adapters and hitch ball mounting kits) and most factory accessories (including original winch adapters).
